Search locksmith near me in Broward and you get a screen full of listings. A lot of them are dispatch networks that pass your job to whoever is closest. Here is the honest difference.
01
You get Joe, not a subcontractor
Call 954-994-1984 and you reach Joe, the owner. Joe is also the person who turns up at your door. No call centre, no voicemail, and nobody bidding your job out to a stranger.
02
Licensed & insured in Florida
Fully licensed and insured to work throughout Broward County. Ask for the license number any time. A locksmith who gets cagey about that question is telling you something.
03
The quote is the price
The oldest trick in this trade is a cheap number on the phone that triples once your lock is already drilled. You get a clear quote before any work starts, and that is what you pay. No dispatch fee bolted on at the end.
04
One county, since 2012
KSB works Broward, and only Broward, and has done since 2012. That is over a decade of knowing which buildings run which hardware, where the gate offices are, and how long it really takes to cross the county at five on a Friday.

Why every price says from
Because a standard residential deadbolt is not the same job as a high-security cylinder or a multipoint patio door, and five cylinders keyed alike is not the same as five separate rekeys. Tell us the lock and the door when you call and you get a firm number before anyone touches anything. There is no dispatch fee, and no charge for turning up and quoting.

Pompano has two very different business areas. On the east side, restaurants, shops and marinas along Atlantic Boulevard, A1A and the beach, where salt air chews through storefront cylinders and back-door hardware. On the west side, the warehouses and flex units off Copans Road, Andrews Avenue, Dixie Highway and Powerline Road, where roll-up doors and personnel doors take a beating every day.
Most commercial calls are not break-ins. They are hardware that has been degrading for months until it quits on a busy morning: a storefront lock that will not turn, a closer that no longer pulls the door shut, a panic bar that sticks. Fixing those before they fail costs less and keeps you open.
Condo associations are a big part of Pompano commercial work, from the towers on the beach to Palm Aire. Lobby doors, pool gates, mail rooms and storage need a clean key plan so the board, management and vendors each have the right access and nothing more.
Exit hardware is where code comes in. A required exit has to open from inside in one motion, with no key. Extra locks on a back door to stop theft can create a real hazard, and we will show you a compliant way to get the same security.
Common questions
Pompano Beach commercial locksmith FAQ
What Pompano Beach business owners and property managers ask us most.
Can you work around our business hours?
Yes. Our hours are Sun–Thu 9 AM–7 PM, Fri 9 AM–5 PM and Sat 9 AM–6 PM, and we schedule commercial jobs for the quietest window you have, often before opening.
An employee left with a key. What should we do?
Rekey every door that key opens. It is quick, inexpensive and settles the question. We can usually do it the same day.
Do you set up master key systems?
Yes. Each person opens what they need, you open everything, and the plan is built before any key is cut.
Do you repair panic bars and exit devices?
Yes, installation, repair and adjustment. A required exit has to work every time, so a sticking bar is worth fixing now.
Do you work with condo associations in Pompano Beach?
Regularly. Lobby doors, pool gates, mail and storage rooms, and master keying for board, management and vendors.
Our storefront lock is corroded from the salt air. Can you replace just the lock?
Almost always. Aluminum storefront doors take a standard mortise cylinder and lock body, and swapping them is a routine repair.
