Locked out of your home? We pick the lock rather than drill it, so your hardware keeps working.
Houses, condos, apartments and high-rise units across all of Broward County.
Standing outside your own front door is stressful enough. Here is exactly what happens.
On a standard residential deadbolt or knob we pick or bypass it. Your lock keeps working afterwards and your key still fits.
Some high-security or already-failed cylinders genuinely have to be drilled. If yours is one, we tell you the cost before we start, not after.
You get the full number on the phone or the moment we see the door. It does not move.
ID or a piece of mail with the address. We ask everyone, and you would want us to ask about your door too.
Full details, what to expect, and answers to the common questions for each service.
Search locksmith near me in Broward and you get a screen full of listings. A lot of them are dispatch networks that pass your job to whoever is closest. Here is the honest difference.
Call 954-994-1984 and you reach Joe, the owner. Joe is also the person who turns up at your door. No call centre, no voicemail, and nobody bidding your job out to a stranger.
Fully licensed and insured to work throughout Broward County. Ask for the license number any time. A locksmith who gets cagey about that question is telling you something.
The oldest trick in this trade is a cheap number on the phone that triples once your lock is already drilled. You get a clear quote before any work starts, and that is what you pay. No dispatch fee bolted on at the end.
KSB works Broward, and only Broward, and has done since 2012. That is over a decade of knowing which buildings run which hardware, where the gate offices are, and how long it really takes to cross the county at five on a Friday.
Starting prices, published up front. Not a teaser rate and not a flat rate: whatever number you are quoted before work begins is the number you pay.
Because a standard residential deadbolt is not the same job as a high-security cylinder or a multipoint patio door, and five cylinders keyed alike is not the same as five separate rekeys. Tell us the lock and the door when you call and you get a firm number before anyone touches anything. There is no dispatch fee, and no charge for turning up and quoting.

The single biggest thing that separates a good residential lockout from a bad one is whether the locksmith reaches for picks or a drill. On a normal deadbolt, picking takes a few minutes and costs you nothing beyond the service. Drilling destroys the cylinder and turns a lockout into a lock replacement, which is exactly why some operators go straight for it.
Broward housing makes for a wide range of jobs. A Fort Lauderdale high-rise unit, a Hollywood bungalow, a Coral Springs house in a master-planned development and a Plantation condo all have different hardware and different rules. Condo and HOA buildings often specify what can go on a unit door, and common-area doors are association property, so we work within those rules rather than around them.
Coastal humidity and salt air are the other factor. Anything near the Intracoastal or the beach corrodes faster than inland hardware, and a cylinder that has been seizing up for months often fails on the day you are already in a hurry. If your key has been getting harder to turn, that is the lock warning you.
If you are locked out and there is a child or a pet inside, or something on the stove, say so immediately when you call. That changes how we prioritise the job, and in a genuine emergency you should call 911 first.
